Google Hiring Principles
It is no surprise that competition for getting an offer from the tech giant is quite fierce. It is harder to get into Google than getting into hire. Many people do not realize how much effort is needed to go through the interview process.
You will be competing with not only the candidates with outstanding track record of success but also internal candidates who have insight knowledge about the role, expectations and contacts to get them references. In fact, one out of three candidates we prepare for the interview is rejected in the final stage because the hiring manager preferred an internal candidate. You will really need to put your game on.
One of Google's principles is 'launch and iterate'. Hiring process might change over time, such as duration, number, mediums of interviews or questions asked but hiring principles remain the same.
First and foremost, you have to be a Googler to be hired for Google. Ie, you should be embracing and representing Google's values.
Be smart
Be proactive
Be a leader
Think big
Learn forever
Learn fast
Act fast
Don't be evil
The hiring committee looks for ready-baked candidates. We help you understand the mindset of interviewers and get you act in Googler mindset to shine in the interview.
